How do I export jianpu to MIDI?

In DomiSol: write your music in jianpu (1 2 3 4 5 6 7), then click Export → MIDI file. The same notes export as a standard .mid file with one track per voice, open in any DAW for further production.

Will the MIDI playback sound like the editor?

Yes, DomiSol's MIDI export uses the same scheduling engine as in-editor playback, so dynamics, articulations (staccato, accent, fermata), and repeat sections carry over. The instrument sound depends on your DAW's General MIDI mapping.

Does each voice get its own MIDI track?

Yes, SATB scores export with Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass as separate MIDI tracks, so you can mix each part independently in your DAW.

How it works

1. Write in jianpu

Compose in DomiSol, type 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 with proper octave dots and beam underlines.
2. Set key + tempo

Pick the actual sounding key (1 = C, 1 = G, etc.) and the tempo. DomiSol uses these to render the right pitches in MIDI.
3. Export MIDI

Click Export → MIDI file. Drag the .mid into your DAW and start producing.
