Musician reading from a music stand
For music students

Learn to read what your choir already reads.

DomiSol is a notation editor where solfa (d r m f s l t) and jianpu (1 2 3 4 5 6 7) are the editing model. Write what you sing, drill sight-singing, train your ear, all in one tab, free during beta.

What you get

Built for the way solfege is actually learned.

01

Sight-singing drills, leveled

Steps · scale · leaps, the difficulty ramps as you go. Hear a phrase, tap it back. See a phrase, sing it. Scored note-by-note with a streak that resets on a miss.

02

Movable-do, the way it's taught

Write in d r m f s l t (or 1 2 3 4 5 6 7) directly, no transposing from staff. The relationship between syllables stays constant across keys, exactly the way solfege is supposed to work.

03

Hear what you wrote

Press space, play. Every note highlights as it sounds. Loop a bar to drill it. Slow it down to hear the intervals. The audio engine works in any browser, no plugins.

04

Hum-to-score

Sing or hum into your microphone, DomiSol transcribes the melody into solfa or jianpu. Useful for capturing a tune you can't read yet, or checking what you actually sang vs what you meant to.

05

Free during beta

Every feature unlocked, no card, no class license required. Sign in with Google or email and start composing, your scores stay yours forever.

06

Works on a $100 Android

The viewer is optimized for low-end phones on 3G. Practice in the library, on the bus, anywhere. Add to home screen for the offline editor shell.
